Ontario is located to the east-central part of Canada. It has a distinction of being the most-populous province of the country with almost 40% of Canadians staying here. It is also the fourth largest province in terms of total area with two of world renowned cities of Toronto and capital Ottawa in its fold.
Ontario’s Northern region is sparsely populated as compared to the Southern part which has majority of the population. As on July 1, 2015, the total population stood at 13,792,052 including the immigrants. Ontario’s climate is seasonal and varies from cold, dry and humid throughout the year.
Ontario is investing hugely into infrastructure with its ambitious $130 billion program for the next 10 years. It is also supporting young entrepreneurs to set up business besides giving a push to exports, trade, and technology. The major exports include motor vehicle and parts, precious metals, mechanical equipments, plastic products and electrical machinery.
