For U.S. Visa a student must have a visa, either a non-immigrant visa, i.e, for temporary stay, or a migrant visa, i.e, for permanent stay. Person must have a student visa to study in United States. Type of visa depends on your course and school or college you choose. 2 type of visa are there: F-1 visa, J-1 visa and M-1 visa.
- F-1 visa is issued to those applicants who wish to study in University of college, high school, elementary school, seminary, conservatory and Another academic institution, including a language training program
- J-1 visa is issued to those applicants who wish to obtain practical training that is not available in their home country to complete their academic program
- M-1 visa is issued to those applicants who wish to study in Vocational or other recognized nonacademic institution, other than a language training program.
