Recently IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has released invitation calls for international to apply permanent residence under the Express Entry pool scheme. The second draw for the same is supposed to happen later this month. 2,991 candidates from all over the world has received invitation to apply in this second draw of Canada Express Entry pool.
This time minimum eligibility has been kept to 433 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and they had received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) after August 9 draw. In last few years, this is the minimum CRS cut-off considered by the authority which shows easy opportunity for internationals to be a Canadian PR. In early June this year, few changes were implemented to CRS calculation point where additional points have been added for candidates with a sibling in Canada and French speakers.
In last three draws, the CRS cut-off was up to 440 and the same drop-off really quickly in the draw took place on 2nd August this year. This happened due to lower frequency of draws in last times and to invite more candidates to appear in it.
Following the recent draw, total 125,587 number ITAs have been issues since starting of this scheme in January 2015. 60,742 of this total ITA number has been granted this year only which shows a significant rise in immigration counts.
